We  know that the Obama administration "weaponized" many, formerly trusted US agencies. The first was the EPA in an effort to bully businesses, pushing the global warming cult, to the point of falsifying scientific data. This was followed by the IRS, targeting conservative organizations and businesses in this largely ignored scandal. Exposed, leading culprits plead the 5th and electronic records were destroyed (sound familiar?). Little to nothing was done with a complicit DOJ turning a blin...

...but first some background.

Disclaimer: I'm really uninterested in another persons sex life (other than my wife that is), that's their business. Also having spent half my life in the military, I fully realize that gays have and are serving their country in that capacity, thank you (and all folks, past and present) for your service. I don't dislike people personally for their lifestyle. I'm sure most serve(d) honorably, and a few were trouble makers, just as their heterosexual counter p...

Whether you are a Democrat, Republican, Independent, or other I believe most reasonable Americans agree that something must be done about the out of control government spending. Until now the only way for the public to participate in their government was to write their representatives or run for office themselves.

This basically floods the offices of representatives and senators with a wide variety of suggestions or grievances that may or may not actually be read by the recipient. A good idea...

What a tragedy. There must be many questions as to why this occurred. I'm sure over then next few days many theories will arise.

For those that might not know what happened, a Polish delegation, including the Polish President, his wife, senior political figures, military leaders, and family members of the victims of the Katyn Forest massacre 70 year anniversary.

To recap, the massacre at Katyn forest occurred when Soviet troops annexed eastern Poland at the beginning of WWII. For years the...

Sometimes the words of the folks that want to destroy the very foundation of the US say it best.

In 2006 conservatives had to take a hard look at the direction Republicans were taking. Many didn't like it. Apparently Democrats learned nothing and have been hijacked under false pretenses.

Excerpts from the Communist Party of the USA http://cpusa.org/: (my emphasis in bold)

"Until we win enough support to change the system, communists call for radical ref...

Just an observation.

The political blogs on JU were much more lively during the Bush years. After the 2008 election and throughout 2009 the volume of political banter has decreased dramatically as far as I can see. What exactly are the reasons for this?

1. Everything that is happening in this country today is just wonderful? I don't believe many feel this way, but you never know.

2. The majority of the JU left only engages when they don't have the White House or a majority in Congr...

NEW YORK (APU) - In a surprise move today the MLB commission issued a statement that this years pennant race is canceled and the Series winner would be naned. Early this morning in a press conference, baseball commissioner, Bud Selig announced the cancellation of the remaining games and declared Obama the World Series champion. "I know he is just one man, without a team", the commissioner said, "but he has done so much for the game! Did you see that pitch he threw out at the All Star g...

Now my boy Sherman...The Clinton administration had just taken office with a vengeance. It was filled with drama and far-left agendas (Zoe Baird, Hillary Care, TC Bombing, Don't Ask Don't Tell, etc), actually IMO much less hub bub than exists today, regardless, this was a big factor in a sweeping Republican victory. It was the first time in 40 years that the Democrats didn't control at least one of the houses. The rest is histo...

In the latest display of ineptness and impotency the world led by the US allowed the rogue state of North Korea to launch their missile rocket on 11:30 a.m. local time on Sunday (2:30 a.m. GMT). This launch provided the North Koreans and their Iranian guests with valuable telemetry and other data as the communist state struggles to gain militarily what it is unable to achieve diplomatically.

In a continuing show of weakness and inability to help enforce existing UN resolutions regarding ...

It appears the liberal agenda supported the radical left organization is having the same expected results on the organization itself as it is on the rest of the nation. It seems they are not invulnerable to the "change" demagoguery they spew to coerce their like-minded followers.

It’s a little hard to see in this picture, but under openings it says, “Currently there are no job openings at MoveOn.org. Check back soon.”  Their Page

Remember back just a few short years ago. The left was lambasting the loss of US prestige in the view of the world as a whole from then president Bush's foreign diplomacy. We were ignoring our friends and allies, not treating them like true friends. Flash forward to 2009. A new administration. A new, friendlier approach, right? Some may say so. I disagree.

Great Britain, is perhaps the greatest ally of the US in the last 100 years. Their soldiers, sailors, and airman have fought and died alon...
